Prezes Europejskiego Urzędu Patentowego António Campinos przebywał z wizytą w Polsce. W jej ramach odbyło się spotkanie z Ministrem Sprawiedliwości Waldemarem Żurkiem. W spotkaniu uczestniczyła także Prezes Urzędu Patentowego RP dr hab. Ewa Skrzydło-Tefelska. Rozmowa dotyczyła roli systemu ochrony własności przemysłowej oraz instytucji wymiaru sprawiedliwości w budowaniu stabilnego otoczenia dla innowacji i rozwoju technologicznego.

Podczas spotkania omówiono funkcjonowanie wyspecjalizowanych sądów własności intelektualnej w Polsce, a także ich znaczenie dla zapewnienia wysokiej jakości rozstrzygania sporów w sprawach technologicznych i gospodarczych. Zwrócono uwagę, że koncentracja spraw własności intelektualnej w wyspecjalizowanych sądach stanowi ważny element profesjonalizacji orzecznictwa w obszarze patentów i nowych technologii.

Po spotkaniu w Ministerstwie Sprawiedliwości Prezes Europejskiego Urzędu Patentowego odwiedził Urząd Patentowy Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej. W siedzibie Urzędu odbyło się spotkanie z kierownictwem Urzędu Patentowego RP – Prezes Urzędu Patentowego RP dr hab. Ewą Skrzydło-Tefelską, zastępczyniami Prezesa – Anetą Stuleblak oraz dr Żanetą Zemłą-Pacud, a także Dyrektorem Generalnym Marcinem Dobrukiem. Rozmowy dotyczyły współpracy pomiędzy Europejskim Urzędem Patentowym a Urzędem Patentowym RP oraz bieżących kwestii związanych z funkcjonowaniem systemu ochrony własności przemysłowej.

The President of the European Patent Office, António Campinos, was visiting Poland. As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Minister of Justice, Waldemar Żurek. The meeting was also attended by the President of the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, dr hab. Ewa Skrzydło-Tefelska. The discussion focused on the role of the industrial property protection system and judicial institutions in building a stable environment for innovation and technological development.

During the meeting, the functioning of specialized intellectual property courts in Poland was discussed, as well as their importance in ensuring high-quality adjudication of disputes in technological and economic matters. It was noted that concentrating intellectual property cases in specialized courts is an important element in the professionalization of case law in the field of patents and new technologies.

After the meeting at the Ministry of Justice, the President of the European Patent Office visited the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland. At the Office’s headquarters, a meeting was held with the management of the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland – the President of the Office, dr hab. Ewa Skrzydło-Tefelska; the Vice-Presidents, Aneta Stuleblak and dr Żaneta Zemła-Pacud; as well as the Director General, Marcin Dobruk. The discussions concerned cooperation between the European Patent Office and the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, as well as current issues related to the functioning of the industrial property protection system.
